Greetings from CT.  Tanya and I are quarantining after a short trip out of state, but we have been thinking about this photo.  Last night, we decided to take a little drive before the sun went down to take a picture of the Simsbury Flower Bridge.  The bridge is no longer used for motor vehicles, but is used for walkers and social gatherings.  Volunteers decorate the bridge with beautiful flowers.  Early in the morning, on nice days, they even have yoga classes on the bridge.  Very peaceful.  You'll notice that it appears that two people are on the bridge.  That is actually a statute of a man fishing with his son.  It is a part of a series of statues around town depicting people in various poses (i.e. reading the newspaper, sunbathing, hitchhiking.  They are very realistic looking and I mistake them for real people on occasion.  This is the third year they have commissioned the placement of these statutes in the spring until fall.    Chris and Tanya

Looking at a familiar shape from different angles provides my lesson for viewing current political events.

I’m taking a Spirituality and Art class (The Ignatian Artist’s Way).... one of our assignments this week was to find patterns in things we would normally overlook. 🙏🏻💙

My last “Pattern” photo of the day! I was sitting by the window and the late afternoon sun was streaming in.... I looked over and it was shining on the inside cover of a journal... the front cover has a design as well. Kathleen Austin Carey.... you may recognize this - as it was a gift from you and one of my favorite things. When you slow down and pay attention... it is amazing what you see. God is waiting in every
