When I saw the title of this post, I said to myself, "Yikes! What have they done to it?!" But it's pretty good. If I were king of the world, I might have chosen a slightly lighter shade. The mahogany may be more Victorian than George V-ian, but it's definitely good not to have the traces of the paint still lingering. So I think it's an improvement.
