She finds herself tired all the time, which seems to be expected. She has been on her back for 14 months and it is going to take her a while to rebuild stamina and strength. I caution her each day that her progress requires her patience. She has been home for a week and a half and that is a short period after 14 months of inertia. Naturally, she wants to feel energetic and she wants to feel as if her progress is noticeable.
She has been sitting up for large segments of the day, whether it is in the wheelchair or on the sofa. Her neck is sore, as to be expected, and I find that she is speaking much better, though she doesn't see the difference. Anyways, I caution her that this will take time. She likes that she sleeps so well. Dale takes her out for a walk and she sometimes is able to wave to neighbors and they sit outside at night occasionally.
Day by day.
Here is Dara's contact information once again. She is on the West coast, so if it is 11:00 on the East Coast, it is 8:00 a.m. in Los Angeles.
